Job Descriptionations, and departmental policy and procedure.Performs regular manual and software tests, including electrical safety testing, of medical equipment for accuracy and efficiency of operation.Identifies potential safety hazards of equipment, and documents actions taken to eliminate them.Responds to work requests, daily, troubleshoots malfunctions and makes the necessary repairs in a timely and efficient manner to reduce the amount of downtime and to keep the department operating effectively.Installs, repairs and maintains complex diagnostic, therapeutic, laboratory, and biomedical research equipment of electronic and mechanic components.Replaces defective
