OverviewThe Biomed Engineer Specialist maintains medical equipment through the effective use of the department Medical Equipment Management Plan. Provides technical expertise and guidance in tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, inspection, operator assistance and training of medical equipment/systems. Records activities associated with medical devices and sampling review of all work to ensure data compliance. Acts as a liaison for the department in review of new technologies and its use within the environment of care.
